COURSE DESCRIPTION

The UB Research Methods Course is a comprehensive online training program for professionals seeking to strengthen the methodological quality, rigor, and impact of their research. Participants will learn to develop meaningful research questions and testable hypotheses, assess reliability and validity, and select appropriate experimental and nonexperimental designs. The course covers both quantitative as well as qualitative scientific methods, including case studies and focus groups, Grounded Theory, narrative analysis, ethnographic and phenomenological approaches, as well as implementing probability and non-probability sampling techniques in the field.

HOW TO ACCESS

The UB Research Methods Course provides participants with access to 7 comprehensive courses on how to move from an initial research idea to a well-designed study and sound interpretation of results. The courses are available On Demand via desktop, mobile, or tablet devices. Questions about content can still be asked via e-mail at support@higheredplus.org. Non-native English speakers have the option to access an additional On Demand course on  Mastering Academic English for Non-Native Speakers.
