
Victoria McGillin, PhD is Associate Vice President at the Gardner Institute, where she has led and collaborated on higher education teams that design and implement institutional transformation processes, academies and communities of practice. Prior to working at the Institute, Dr. McGillin served as Provost at Otterbein University, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Linfield University, Associate Provost at Texas Woman’s University, and Dean of Studies and Assistant Provost at Wheaton College. She has been responsible for curriculum and pedagogy, advising, student success, student academic support, faculty development and faculty/staff support. Having received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Michigan State University, Dr. McGillin has authored over 100 papers and chapters on career-span faculty development, academic resilience, academic advising and student success. She has held leadership roles in AAC&U Project Kaleidoscope STEM Leadership Institute, NACADA, the Council of Independent Colleges, the Association for Collaborative Leadership, and the New England Resource Center for Higher Education.
