
Aimee L. Terosky, EdD is Associate Dean of the School of Education and Human Development and Professor of Educational Leadership at Saint Joseph’s University. An award-winning scholar, educator, and academic leader, Dr. Terosky’s work focuses on teaching and learning, faculty development, career management, instructional leadership, and the educational and professional experiences of women and girls across K-12 and higher education settings. She received her EdD in Higher and Postsecondary Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, her MA in School Leadership from Villanova University, and her BS in Secondary Education from The Pennsylvania State University. Her dissertation, Taking Teaching Seriously: A Study of Professors and Their Undergraduate Teaching, received the Association for the Study of Higher Education’s Bobby Wright Dissertation of the Year Award. Prior to joining Saint Joseph’s, Dr. Terosky taught at Teachers College, Columbia University, served as Assistant Principal of New York City Public School #334, and taught social studies in the Quakertown Community School District. She is co-author or co-editor of several books and monographs, including A Toolkit for Mid-Career Academics: Cultivating Career Advancement; Bridging the Research-Practice Nexus: Resources, Tools, and Strategies to Navigate Mid-Career in the Academy; Success After Tenure: Supporting Mid-Career Faculty; and Faculty Careers and Work Lives: A Professional Growth Perspective.
